Is there a more beautiful name that Mary Jane? I don't think so, they're so...balanced.
A strip from 'Buster Brown' the Mary Jane is thought to be named after a character from this comic.
I can't get enough Laura Marlings new track! I wasn't crazy about it the first listen but it's grown on me fast and I can't get it out of my head. I'm still not so keen on the country vibes halfway though but I love Laura's voice so much anyway it's hard not to love it.

Charles Anastase spring summer 11
I think this might be the last spring summer 11 post I do, it's getting awfully autumnal now, it was dark when I came home from work yesterday. I'm not sad though, I'm so eager to start packing on the autumn layers!

Today I visited Basildon park and used my own national trust card for the first time! I am getting far too old. They are currently showing lots of 1950's dresses by Horrockses Fashions and they're so beautiful, I love the way that they sit on a woman's body, I wish girls would wear these now instead of trackies and trainers!
A year or so ago I went to Keddleston hall and saw lots Keira Knightley's dresses from The Duchess, they were exquisite, really stunning, if only I could walk around in a corseted-full skirted-full length dress now and not be stared at.
Thank you to the National Trust for the pictures.
