I've been watching too much Mad Men lately, I can't get enough of pastels, cinched waists and Betty Draper dresses and it doesn't help that I have a constant stream of archived pictures from @myvintagevogue! Today she posted a gorgeous black and white Forties beach photograph; don't you think the beach looked nicer back in the Forties and Fifties? I do, it looked sunnier!
