A Slice of Fashion

I don’t know why I haven’t featured this yet on my blog, it’s everywhere so really I’m just adding to the noise but I am in love with the Louis Vuitton Cruise Collection 2011.

000010fullscreen Louis Vuitton Cruise 2011 Collection

Marc went back to curves, the woman

Buttery yellows, upholstery florals, baby pink, mint green

Flared skirts daring you to twirl around, pretty ballerina flats willing you to dance, nipped in waists begging for a pretty chequered pinny to be tied into place, leather driving gloves for the girl who has a driver, floppy hats, oversized bags, eccentric sunglasses, flowers, stripes, chiffon, tweed.

Fifties channelling seventies.

Marc Jacobs has won a place in my heart forever.

A Slice of Fashion

The new year is imminent and I for one am looking forward so much to the summer, to florals, to pastels, to an excuse to wear yellow and gorgeous floaty wispy magical nudes.

Today I bring you some from Alberta Ferretti

imageimageimage

Beautifully vintage, silks and chiffon, I adore this collection, (even though it is strictly A/W) Ferretti here just makes me dream of hot summer nights…

Mmm, cable knit skirts, furry boots, graphic knit corset dresses teamed with layers of heavenly chiffon.

Well, actually this is more like a big hunk of Lanvin cake! From his Autumn/Winter 2010 collection.

Every girl likes a bit of floaty romantic chiffon

image

I’ll tell you a secret – this one’s my favourite! Classic black heels, lace pencil skirt, sheer gathered nude top that looks rather like a blouse, made effortlessly classy with a fur stole and evening bag, could see this as a wonderful day to night.

I love this shift dress with bondage heels and the black blunt fringe, nice twist on a classic.

Well look who it is, Miss Abbey Lee Kershaw I believe sporting a stunning Anna Sui dress with equally gorgeous patterned tights and bag.
I suggest wearing while listening to anything folk e.g. Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons or Bombay Bicycle club (so basically what’s on my playlist).

I really love Anna Sui’s tights this A/W

image

…and I have some wonderful news…you can buy some Anna Sui tights at Urban Outfitters for £25. (I think that’s pretty pricey for tights, but they are pretty).
