Glamour seems to be one of the emerging trends at this seasons NYFW, along with futuristic detail and canary yellow. Drama was the word at Oscar De La Renta - well isn't it always - romantic make up and pre-Raphaelite cloud like hair, billowing skirts, lace overlaid onto gowns, details were reminiscent of Georgian clothing, Keria Knightley wouldn't look out of place if she turned up fully clad in her Duchess costume and wig.
As unwearable as all this sounds there were also pretty summer frocks with vibrant floral prints which I'm sure will be recreated on the high street in a few months and a lot of stunning gowns that I look forward to seeing on the red carpet.
